BioLab

The experiment workshop runs from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Group sessions begin at 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm. Here, visitors examine soap bubbles and foams in detail. Using wire models, they construct curved walls from soap films. Using two syringes, they mix foams with different physical properties. The wire models also demonstrate how material can be used sparingly between the wires — the soap film takes up exactly this area. This is of particular interest to fans of structural engineering and architecture.
