phaeno is fun and excitement for the whole family. Over 350 amazing phenomena are waiting to be discovered together. The children's area for 3 to 6-year-olds invites them to play and discover on a total of three levels. Touching, turning and trying out everything is definitely encouraged at phaeno. Children and young people playfully explore the world of scientific and technical phenomena. Parents and grandparents can also discover extraordinary exhibits and works of art. There is something for everyone at phaeno - guaranteed!
Shows and experiments in open visitor laboratories provide even more variety - not just for our regular guests and annual pass holders. At weekends and on holiday, there are regular shows several times a day in the science theatre or tinkering workshops in the TechLab. During the holidays, we offer you an extensive programme - every day, seven days a week.
New exhibits and special exhibitions also provide variety. There is no chance of boredom here.

On these afternoons, the bistro will be open and will serve light refreshments (coffee and ice cream) until 4.30 pm. Reduced admission from 2.30 pm.
