The phaeno is located in the immediate vicinity of Wolfsburg Central Station and can be easily reached by local and long-distance trains.

The exhibition areas are easily accessible for all visitors.

from the main entrance you can reach our exhibition level via the lift or escalator.
The main level of the exhibition is designed so that all areas are accessible with a wheelchair or pushchair via ramps. The upper exhibition level can be reached via a stair lift for wheelchairs. Changing facilities and a disabled toilet are available.

With the combined ticket, families - whether two adults and two children, a grandfather and four grandchildren or an aunt and uncle with their godchild - receive a 30 per cent discount on admission to the phaeno and planetarium when purchasing a combined ticket compared to individual tickets. Adults, children and schoolchildren also save: They receive a discount of 10 per cent. The combined ticket contains admission vouchers for one day's visit each, which can be redeemed both on the same day and on different days at phaeno and the planetarium.
All combined tickets are available at the ticket offices of phaeno and the partner institution. Groups should book at least 7 days in advance by calling 05361 / 890 100.
The annual pass pays for itself after the third visit. In addition, we inform annual pass holders by e-mail about special exhibitions, lectures or special offers.

You can redeem vouchers at the main cash desk in the phaeno.
Lockers.
There are lockers on the exhibition level next to the escalator for storing jackets and bags during opening hours. You will need 1 euro or a shopping trolley chip as a deposit. For school classes, we offer lockable cloakroom boxes for storage.

The phaeno discovery bistro serves hot dishes such as pasta, pizza. chips or chicken nuggets. There are also small snacks such as wraps, sandwiches and salads. You can get hot and cold drinks. The bistro is run by Diakonie Kästorf.
Outside opening hours, vending machines with snacks and cold drinks are available in the bistro.

Photography and filming at phaeno for purely private purposes is permitted and may be posted or shared on social media. Pleaseobserve netiquette - the rules of behaviour for respectful and appropriate communication on the internet.
Dogs or other pets are not permitted. Guide dogs for the blind/disabled are welcome.
Photography.
Photography and filming in the interior of phaeno for purely private purposes is permitted, provided that no tripod or external flash is used. Photography of any kind is prohibited in the context of special exhibitions. The taking of photographs of any kind for public use (commercial or non-commercial) is generally not permitted.
