The phaeno in Wolfsburg is starting its Easter holiday programme with the show "Augenblick! Now it's getting colourful" in its Easter holiday programme. The new show is all about light and colours. Through exciting experiments, guests will find out what colours are contained in white light. They learn how to mix colours and how black is created. The show also takes a close look at various mobile phones. What trick can a mobile phone use to display colours and how does a printer produce bright colours? The guests will discover these secrets with entertaining experiments.
In addition to the show, a variety of exhibits, the children's area and the CellLab await curious guests: anyone who has never touched a fog tornado, lain on a bed of nails or microscoped their own hair can try it out during the Easter holidays.
Hands-on lab
You can make your own Easter decorations for home in the wood-turning workshop. An Easter egg, a chick or a bunny made of wood are created almost as if by magic on child-friendly machines.
What's hatching there?
From 23 March to 1 April 2024, there will be a wide variety of different chicks to discover at the traditional chick hatching event. The Fallersleben and Surroundings Poultry Breeding Association has set itself the task of preserving many chicken breeds that would otherwise no longer exist. The members of the association look after the chick hatch. Each chick is returned to the breeder after hatching and raised there.
