The school year will soon be over - a reason to celebrate. That's why we're inviting you to School's Out at phaeno. Look forward to your report card ice cream and a great programme: from face painting and Kapla activities to lots of outdoor activities, we have a lot to offer.

School's Out at phaeno: Turn your report card into an ice cream 🍦
How does it work? All you have to do is show a photo of your school report at the ticket office. You will then receive a voucher for a scoop of ice cream at the Superleggera stand (outside) together with your admission wristband.
Or you can use the voucher for an ice cream on a stick (Corretta Orange or Cool Cola) in the catering area.
The promotion runs while stocks last.
In addition to ice cream treats, there are also delicious coffee creations for the grown-ups. The barista from superleggera will provide you with culinary coffee & co.
In the outdoor area you can get delicious crêpes at the "Tuckelbützchen".

Further drinks and pizza and co. are available in the bistro.
Lion, tiger or butterfly - the little guests can choose how they want to be made up on School's Out Day. Glitter is a must, of course. After a short make-up break, the tour of the phaeno can continue.
Tip: In the new mirror worlds you can view the result almost endlessly mirrored, distorted or enlarged and take a very special selfie of yourself.
The City Library offers a picture book cinema and a book flea market in the children's area at certain times. Come along and take a little break.

Green screen technology makes it possible: simply beam yourself into a fantasy world, fly in the bubble or sit on the hand of Robo, our robot from the exhibition.
Clear the way for Abellio: in the Ideas Forum (under the phaeno, outside) you can take great photos of yourself with the help of green screen technology. The photo will be printed and can be taken home or sent as a holiday greeting.

We are looking forward to Sarina Kühnetz from Painting time on the canal. This year, she will be designing postcards with you that you can send during the summer holidays - in a completely analogue way, how cool! Come along and design your own postcards with the lettering artist. You'll learn how to turn individual dots into whole words. Add great motifs and decorative fonts and you'll have the best postcards for your holiday!

On the upper level you will not only find our new exhibitions with funny mirror exhibitsbut also the new Kapla area. Here you can build anything from small works of art to grand structures. Be inspired by the Kapla masters from France, who are travelling from Lyon especially for the School's Out. They are part of the Kapla Centre Lyon and will give you tips on how to get up high quickly or how to recreate a wide variety of figures.

Have you ever played football darts? No? Then you should definitely stop by the City of Wolfsburg's play mobile in front of the phaeno from 1 to 5 pm. There you can try out how high you can get on the climbing wall and learn how football darts actually works.
The VfB Fallersleben has put together an outdoor best-of for every taste. Let off steam on the bouncy castle, compete against each other on the goal wall or duel in mini table tennis.

The name says it all: on School's Out Day, we'll be presenting a best-of from past shows, with banging effects, fiery experiments, lots of cool effects and some fun surprises.
... and because it will soon be the holidays, you can simply sit back and enjoy the experiments in our show with extra show fog.

Don't forget your tickets. You can get them free of charge at the box office. Seats are limited.
Build your own marble run. There are many different materials available for this. Let the balls roll over rails, through funnels or tubes. You decide whether the balls roll fast or slow or whether they do a loop. You can get creative with lots of everyday materials in the perforated wall. Fun for the whole family.
