Everyone can become an inventor, discoverer or problem solver in the tinkering zone! Whether as a family, with friends or alone - at our interactive experimentation tables, you can master challenges together, develop solutions and give free rein to your creativity.

Sulfur, the curious, lovable lab rat from the phaeno, dreams of the stars - and takes you on an entertaining research trip through space.
Participation is encouraged! You will experience exciting experiments live on stage: space training, centrifuge, vacuum chamber, rocket launch - explained in a funny way and simply amazing.
Learning with fun: You learn through interaction, watch Sulfur tinker and understand physical phenomena.
For the whole family: Ideal for little explorers aged 4 and up - laugh, marvel and learn together.

50,000 Kapla bricks are available for you to build with at phaeno. Although the Kapla bricks made of pine wood look a little plain at first, you can create incredible things with them. From small buildings to large works of art, there are no limits to your creativity. But see for yourself!
For all ages: Kapla fascinates young and old. While the little ones playfully build little towers, older children test their creativity and spatial thinking.
Skills development: concentration, fine motor skills, logical thinking and perseverance are trained naturally.
Inspiring support: templates and building instructions are available - and the phaeno team is always on hand to help.

Mirror, mirror on the wall ...
Over 20 mirror exhibits for you to explore. Whether beautiful kaleidoscope mirrors, funny distorting mirrors or really unusual mirror phenomena. But we don't want to give too much away. Discover them for yourself!
To help you puzzle your way around the exhibition, we have organised a discovery tour we have put together for you. You can download and print it out at home or pick it up at the phaeno ticket office.
