Here, wood, tools and a good idea are turned into your very own little sailing boat. In our wood workshop, you can saw, drill, hammer and file to your heart’s content. Step by step, the hull, mast, railing and sails take shape – and at the end, every child holds their very own handmade boat in their hands.
It’s not just about making things: children experience real craftsmanship, try out tools and discover just how much fun it is to create something with their own hands.
Once the boat is finished, you can of course take it home with you – ready for its home port. ⚓
In the woodwork workshop, children learn how to use different materials and tools in a playful way. Through sawing, filing, sanding and hammering, they not only create small boats but also develop important life skills.
The young boat builders develop their fine motor skills, concentration and patience. They learn to work carefully, plan their steps and solve small challenges on their own. At the same time, this creative work fosters imagination and technical understanding.

Through building and experimenting, children playfully discover exciting physical principles such as buoyancy, balance, stability and wind power. They observe how shape and weight influence whether a boat floats well or might capsize.
